Here we go!

I can't believe I'm actually writing this post—finally placing my ideas down for others to see... talk about vulnerable!

The beginning of my journey started when I read Zachariah 9:16. The scripture hit my heart in a beautiful way. In that moment, God dropped a vision into my heart.

When I first came across it, I was looking for fun and uplifting ways to encourage college women at Gateway Church's "Pink" Conference. It became a burden of my heart at that moment and as the years passed, the vision for encouraging women—God's jewels—continued to grow.

Years later in June of 2012, I was desperate. My health was in crisis. I was bleeding internally, spending days in the ICU, feeling like my time on earth was being shortened and much more... yet God kept putting the dream of having a child in our home on my heart.

God graced us with a child when we had all but given up. In spite of my strokes and surgeries and all the complications—God gave a precious baby girl!

As I put her nursery together on paper, sketching out what I wanted this miracle angel to have in her room, the main picture that kept coming to mind were the jewel cards I had created for that event. I felt like God was telling me to get these precious cards out—put them on display in our beautiful baby's room—for her and I both to be reminded of how precious we are to God and how much He value us.

As a new mother to a baby girl, this was the first thing I did.

In the same way, I hope you will find these precious little keepsakes and inspirations to remind you of your Heavenly Father's love, as He smiles over the precious value that He finds in you.
